Yucca capensis
Yucca capensis, commonly known as the Cape Region yucca, is an endangered plant in the Asparagaceae family. It grows only in a small area of Baja California Sur, Mexico, near Cabo San Lucas, in mountains above 1000 meters.
The species has a very limited range and faces threats from habitat destruction. It is more closely related to Yucca species from the Sierra Madre Occidental (Chihuahua and Sonora) than to Yucca valida found elsewhere in Baja California Sur.
