5 BC
5 BC was a year in the Julian calendar. It was a common year that began on Monday or Tuesday, depending on the source. If you extend the calendar back with the same rules (the proleptic Julian calendar), it would be a leap year beginning on Saturday. In ancient Rome, that year was known as the Year of the Consulship of Augustus and Sulla, or as year 749 Ab urbe condita. The label 5 BC has been used since the early medieval period, after the Anno Domini system became the common way to name years in Europe.
