Thomas Mitchell Smith (born 14 December 1985) is a Welsh rugby union player who mainly plays as a flanker or number eight. He was born in Bristol, England, and captained the Wales Under-21s. He attended Dyffryn Comprehensive School and Cardiff University. Smith began his senior career with Neath RFC and later joined the Ospreys, making his Ospreys debut in February 2007 as a replacement against Connacht. In July 2012 he signed a contract extension with the Ospreys after rumours of a move to London Irish.
