Yinan County is in the south of Shandong Province, China. It belongs to the city of Linyi. The county covers 1,719 square kilometers and had about 838,000 people in 2019. Earlier population figures include about 896,000 in 1999, and by the end of 2022 about 792,000 residents. The only township is Mamuchi Township (马牧池乡).

Climate and geography
Yinan’s climate is warm temperate with four distinct seasons and clear monsoon influence.

Key attractions
- Hongshizhai Xiangshan Lake Tourist Area: a scenic area near the Yimeng Ecological Avenue, with lakes, hills, and distinctive rock formations used in local architecture.
- Menglianggu National Forest Park: a natural area that blends landscape with Yimeng red culture and ancient history; features a main peak about 536 meters high.
- Zhuge Liang Cultural Tourism Zone: located on Wolong Mountain, highlighting Zhuge Liang’s history with sites like a Bronze Statue Square and cultural streets.
- Zhuquan Village Tourist Resort: showcases Yimeng’s original ecological village life, bamboo landscapes, farming culture, and countryside scenery.
- Yimeng Film & TV Base: in Changshan Village, Mamuchi Township, with sections such as the Yimeng Hung Sao Pavilion, Ancient Mountain Village, Ancient County Town, and Mountain Dream Resort.
