Wyoming Historic District

Wyoming Historic District is a national historic district in Wyoming, Kent County, Delaware. It covers about 95 acres and includes 310 contributing buildings and 10 contributing structures. The area is roughly bounded by Front Street, Rodney Avenue, Southern Boulevard, and Mechanic Street.

Most buildings were developed after the Delaware Railroad arrived in 1855, with significant growth from the 1870s to 1941. Architectural styles found here include Classical Revival, Bungalow/Craftsman, and Queen Anne.

Notable structures include the town hall, the former W. M. Harris & Son Vinegar & Canning Factory, the Wyoming mill complex, the Wyoming United Methodist Church, the First National Bank of Wyoming, and the main building of the former Wyoming Institute. The Wyoming Railroad Station is located in the district but is listed separately.

The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places on February 18, 1987, with the reference number 86003037.
