"Wish You Were Here" is a country song performed by Barbara Mandrell. It was written by Kye Fleming and Dennis Morgan and released on August 31, 1981 as the second and final single from her live album Barbara Mandrell Live. The B-side is "She's Out There Dancin' Alone." The track runs 2 minutes and 45 seconds and was released by MCA Records, produced by Tom Collins. It reached number 2 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Singles chart and number 11 on the Canadian RPM Country Tracks chart. The single came after "I Was Country When Country Wasn't Cool" (1981) and before "Till You're Gone" (1982).
