1977 NC State Wolfpack football

The Wolfpack represented NC State in the 1977 NCAA Division I football season. Coached by Bo Rein in his second year, they were part of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and finished 8–4 overall with a 4–2 ACC record. They were ranked No. 19 in the coaches poll. NC State played its home games at Carter Stadium in Raleigh, North Carolina, a venue the program has used since 1966. The season included a Peach Bowl win, 24–14, over Iowa State.
