2020 Sakhir Formula 2 round
The 2020 Sakhir Formula 2 round was a pair of motor races at the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir, held on 28–29 November 2020 as part of the FIA Formula 2 Championship. It was the penultimate round of the season and ran as a support event for the Bahrain Grand Prix. The weekend was moved from its original March dates because of the COVID-19 pandemic. A virtual Bahrain Grand Prix was held on the original date, won by Guanyu Zhou, and the real races later took place behind closed doors due to health concerns, with local health workers allowed to attend with their families.
Pole position for the feature race was taken by Callum Ilott (UNI-Virtuosi), 0.391 seconds ahead of Felipe Drugovich.
Feature race (32 laps) — winner: Felipe Drugovich (MP Motorsport); second: Callum Ilott (UNI-Virtuosi); third: Jehan Daruvala (Carlin). Fastest lap: Luca Ghiotto (Hitech Grand Prix) 1:46.155 on lap 15.
Sprint race (23 laps) — winner: Robert Shwartzman (Prema Racing); second: Nikita Mazepin (Hitech Grand Prix); third: Louis Delétraz (Charouz Racing System). Fastest lap: Louis Delétraz 1:45.114 on lap 10.
