Fath Mashhad F.C.
Fath Mashhad Football Club, commonly known as Fath Mashhad or FTH, is an Iranian football team from Mashhad, Khorasan. They play in League 2 and host matches at Takhti Mashhad Stadium, which seats 15,000. The club was founded on February 11, 1988, by a group of young people from Mashhad. They started in Mashhad’s local second division, won the Khorasan province championship in 1995, and were promoted to League 2 in 1996. The Mashhad Derby used to be Fath Mashhad vs Aboumoslem, but it hasn’t been played for over five years due to relegations to the Azadegan League and then the second division. The head coach is Hamid Vahidi.
