William "Dynamite" Douglas (March 21, 1940 – October 7, 1999) was an American boxer from Columbus, Ohio. He stood 5 feet 10 inches tall, fought in an orthodox stance, and competed mainly in the middleweight and light-heavyweight divisions in the 1970s. His pro career spanned 59 fights, with 42 wins (32 by knockout), 16 losses, and 1 draw. He faced notable opponents such as Bennie Briscoe, Marvin Johnson, and Matthew Saad Muhammad before retiring in 1980. His son, James "Buster" Douglas, later became the undisputed world heavyweight champion. Douglas was trained by Gary H. Brown, another Ohio native.
