Te Sun Han (born 1941 in Kiryū) is a Korean-Japanese information theorist and the 2010 Shannon Award winner. He is a professor emeritus at the University of Electro-Communications. His research includes the interference channel and information spectrum methods, and he helped shape early ideas about the entropy cone. In 1990 he was named an IEEE Fellow for his work on multiuser information theory and distributed signal detection systems.
