Luçay-le-Mâle
Luçay-le-Mâle is a small commune in central France. It is in the Indre department, within the Centre-Val de Loire region. The area covers about 168 square kilometers and had 1,324 residents in 2023, with a population density of around 19 people per square kilometer.
The land rises from 97 to 182 meters above sea level. The current mayor is Bruno Taillandier (2020–2026). Luçay-le-Mâle is part of the Châteauroux arrondissement and the Valençay canton, in the Écueillé-Valençay intercommunality. The local church is dedicated to Saint Maurice.
