Disney XD (Italy)
Disney XD Italy was a children's TV channel in Italy, owned by The Walt Disney Company Italia. It was the Italian version of the US Disney XD and aired nationwide on Sky Italia.
The channel began life as Fox Kids on 1 April 2000 on the Stream DTH service. It then became Jetix in 2005, and in 2009 rebranded as Disney XD, starting on Sky Italia from 28 September 2009.
Disney XD Italy closed on 1 October 2019 after Disney did not renew its contract with Sky. The channel broadcast in Italian, in HD, from its Milan headquarters, and had sister channels including Disney Channel and Disney Junior.
