RFK Novi Sad 1921
RFK Novi Sad 1921 is a professional football club from Novi Sad, Serbia. They play in the Serbian League Vojvodina, the third tier of Serbian football, in the 2025–26 season. The team is nicknamed The Canaries and they play at Stadion Detelinara, which seats about 3,000.
The club started in 1921 as NTK. It was re-founded in 1948 as FK Trgovački and renamed FK Novi Sad in 1954. In 1956, they merged with NSK (formerly FK Eđšeg). They joined the Yugoslav Second League in 1958 and reached the top division in 1960–61, remaining there until 1964. In 1966 they merged with FK Radnički to form RFK Novi Sad. They spent many seasons in the second tier and reached the Yugoslav Cup semi-finals in 1976–77.
After Yugoslavia broke up, they stayed in the second tier of FR Yugoslavia/Serbia and Montenegro until 2006. They won the Serbian League Vojvodina in 2006–07 to move up to the Serbian First League, where they stayed until 2013. The club was reformed as RFK Novi Sad 1921 in 2014. They reached the Vojvodina League South in 2020, won it in 2022, and then merged with FK Proleter Novi Sad to take its spot in the Serbian First League. In 2025–26 they compete in the Serbian League Vojvodina, the third level.
