British National Individual Pursuit Championships

The British National Individual Pursuit Championships are held every year as part of the British National Track Championships. They are run by British Cycling. The men race over 4,000 metres, and there used to be a 5,000-metre professional version. A women’s championship started in 1960.

- Women: 2022 Neah Evans; 2023 Neah Evans; 2024 Kate Richardson; 2025 Anna Morris.

Notes

- The 2021 event was not held because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The championships have a long history with many famous winners, including Graeme Obree and Rob Hayles as multiple male champions, and Beryl Burton who dominated the early women’s racing.
