Dave Sapienza is an American stock car racer born on May 11, 1965, in Riverhead, New York. He competes part-time in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour, driving the No. 36 for Judy Thilberg. Sapienza began his Modified Tour career in 2014 and has 123 starts. He has not won any championships, races, or pole positions, with his best finishes being seventh in 2017 and 2020. In 2025, he finished 31st in the standings. Sapienza has also raced in the Tri-Track Open Modified Series, the EXIT Realty Modified Touring Series, and the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing. His crew chief is Greg Kleila.
