Wang Mei-hua
Wang Mei-hua, born on 10 August 1958, is a Taiwanese lawyer and politician. She served as Taiwan’s Minister of Economic Affairs from 19 June 2020 to 20 May 2024. Before that, she held senior roles at the Ministry of Economic Affairs, including vice minister (2016–2019) and deputy minister (from June 2019). Earlier, she was the director-general of the Intellectual Property Office within the MOEA. She earned a law degree from National Taiwan University after attending Taichung Municipal Taichung Girls' Senior High School. She is married to Wellington Koo.
