The St. Regis Toronto
The St. Regis Toronto is a tall, mixed‑use building in downtown Toronto. It combines a luxury hotel, private residences, and retail space. The tower stands about 277 meters tall with 65 stories, of which 57 are occupiable. The hotel occupies floors 2–31 and has 261 rooms; the 118 condo suites fill floors 32–57. A 59,050-square-foot spa sits on the top floors.
Location and design: It’s at 325 Bay Street, at the southeast corner of Bay and Adelaide in the Financial District. The building is one of Canada’s tallest and the tallest mixed‑use building in Toronto. It was designed by Zeidler Partnership Architects and features a steel, glass, and stone facade.
History: The project opened in 2012 as the Trump International Hotel & Tower Toronto, with the Trump Organization managing the hotel. The branding and ties to Donald Trump sparked controversy. In 2017 the management contract was terminated, and InnVest Hotels LP bought the hotel portion. The building was renovated and operated as The Adelaide Hotel Toronto during the renovations. In 2018 it joined Marriott International as The St. Regis Toronto.
Residents and amenities: The condo units have high ceilings (around 3.4–4 meters) and offer a private entrance and elevators separate from hotel guests. The hotel includes a large spa and luxury services typical of the St. Regis brand.
