Walnutport is a small borough in Northampton County, Pennsylvania, located along the Lehigh River. It’s part of the Lehigh Valley metropolitan area and sits about 20 miles north of Bethlehem, near Slatington and Palmerton.

The town has about 2,000 residents and covers roughly 0.8 square miles in total (most of it land with a small amount of water). It sits at about 814 feet above sea level. The ZIP code is 18088.

The main road through Walnutport is Pennsylvania Route 145, which runs along the eastern edge of the borough.

Walnutport was incorporated in 1909. It is served by the Northern Lehigh School District, with high school students attending Northern Lehigh High School in Slatington.
