Overview:
Muaythai first appeared in the World Combat Games in 2010 in Beijing and has been part of every edition since. The competition is run as separate tournaments for each weight class. The number of weight classes has stayed the same (8 for men and 3 for women), but the exact weight limits for each class have changed several times. Weights are measured in kilograms. Muaythai has been held at two different venues in the World Combat Games (as of the 2013 Saint Petersburg edition).
