Luodai
Luodai is an ancient town in Sichuan province, southwest China, about 20 km from downtown Chengdu. It has about 23,000 residents, nearly all of them Hakka (around 20,000). With more than 85% Hakka, Luodai is a key center for Hakka culture in Sichuan and is often called “World’s Luodai and Eternal Hakka.” It was one of the main venues for the 20th World Hakka Conference. On weekends, many visitors come to enjoy the town’s culture and try local foods and snacks.
