Baixas, or Baixàs in Catalan, is a small commune in southern France. It sits in the Pyrénées-Orientales department, within the Occitania region, near the city of Perpignan. Baixas is part of the canton of Le Ribéral and the arrondissement of Perpignan, in the Northern Catalan area known as Rosselló. The area is about 119 square kilometers, with elevations from 51 to 312 meters.

As of 2023, about 2,777 people live there. Residents are called baixanenc. The current mayor (2020–2026) is Gilles Foxonet. Baixas is part of the Perpignan Méditerranée Métropole intercommunal structure.
