Walking in the Light is a Cliff Richard gospel compilation released in August 1984. It features gospel, CCM, and pop songs recorded from 1975 to 1982. The album was produced by Bruce Welch, Cliff Richard, Terry Britten, Alan Tarney, and Richard Hewson. It sits in Richard’s discography after Silver (1983) and before The Rock Connection (1984).

The album is notable for being one of the best-selling contemporary Christian music (CCM) albums in the UK during the 1980s. All the tracks were originally released during Richard’s late-70s to early-80s period on studio albums, live albums, or as B-sides, and they are mainly songs from that time that were not included on his two gospel studio albums Small Corners (1978) and Now You See Me, Now You Don’t (1982).

A follow-up gospel compilation, It’s a Small World, came out in 1985 and mostly collected songs already available on earlier Richard releases; it added two tracks not on earlier albums: “Tiny Planet” (previously unreleased) and “Moving In” (the B-side of “Carrie,” 1980).
