Clint Vahsholtz
Clint Vahsholtz (born March 14, 1971) is an American former stock car racer from Woodland Park, Colorado.
NASCAR career
Vahsholtz competed in the NASCAR Busch Series from 2003 to 2005, running five races with no wins, no top tens, and no poles. He made his Busch debut in Las Vegas in 2003 with Jay Robinson Racing, starting 31st and finishing 40th after an engine issue. He later drove his own No. 90 Ford at Pikes Peak, finishing 18th. In 2004 he had a 19th-place finish at Nashville and a 36th at Kentucky; his season finale at Pikes Peak started 21st but ended 33rd after a crash.
West Series and ARCA
Vahsholtz also raced in the NASCAR West Series in 2002, with 11 starts and a best finish of 20th. He competed in the ARCA Re/Max Series in 2002–2003.
Pikes Peak
He is best known for the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. He has competed there since 1992, winning his division 24 times and earning one King of the Mountain, making him one of the event’s most successful drivers. He holds records in Super Stock Cars and Open Wheels. His first peak entry was in 1992 in the Pro Motorcycle division.
Personal life
Vahsholtz attended Woodland Park High School. He still lives in Woodland Park, Colorado, and runs his own auto repair business.
