Miss Brazil World 2015
Miss Brazil World 2015 was the 26th edition of Brazil’s national pageant and the first under CNB Miss Brazil (MMB Productions & Events became CNB Miss Brazil during this event). The contest took place on June 27, 2015, at the Pedro Ivo Theater in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina. It featured 36 contestants and 20 placements. The show was hosted by Chris Barth, Juliano Crema, Alessandro Boiah and Sancler Frantz, with Suzy as the entertainment.
Ana Luísa Castro of Sergipe originally won the crown, but she resigned after it was revealed her marriage outside Brazil in Belgium was not recognized in Brazil. Catharina Choi of Ilhabela was then crowned Miss Brazil World 2015 and went on to compete in Miss World 2015.
The pageant’s special awards went to Rebeca Falco (Congeniality) from Rondônia and Marjorie Rossi (Photogenic) from São Paulo Capital.
