Voronezh State Medical University named after N. N. Burdenko
Voronezh State Medical University named after N. N. Burdenko is in Voronezh, Russia. It began in 1930 as the medical faculty of Voronezh University and became an independent medical institute with two faculties: General Medicine and Health. In 1933, the Pediatric Faculty was added; in 1957, the Dentistry (Stomatology) Faculty; and in 1983, Continuing Education for medical specialists and practicing physicians.
In 1992, the International Faculty of Medical Education and the Faculty of Pre-University Training were introduced. In 1994, the institution took the name Voronezh State Medical University named after N. N. Burdenko. The university offers international programs in General Medicine, Pediatrics, Dentistry, and Pharmacy, including MBBS in English for foreign students.
