Villars-Burquin is a former municipality in the canton of Vaud, Switzerland. On 1 July 2011, it merged with Fontanezier, Romairon and Vaugondry to form the new municipality of Tévenon. It covers about 4.82 square kilometers and sits around 749 meters above sea level. In 2009 the population was 565, and most residents speak French. About 61% of the land is forest and 33% is used for farming, with a small area settled.

Villars-Burquin was part of the Grandson District until 2006, after which it became part of Jura-Nord Vaudois. The coat of arms is gold with two pine branches crossed and a wren.

In 2008 around 8% of residents were foreign nationals. The area has mainly single-family homes. The economy includes farming, manufacturing and services, but many people commute to jobs outside the municipality. Unemployment was about 5% in 2010. In the 2009/2010 school year there were about 65 students in the local district, with primary and lower secondary schooling available in the canton.

Today, Villars-Burquin is part of Tévenon, formed to better manage services and development for several nearby communities.
