Vika Jigulina
Vika Jigulina, born Victoria Corneva on February 18, 1986, is a Moldovan-Romanian record producer, singer, and DJ. She was born in Cahul, in the Moldavian SSR (now Moldova). Her mother is Bulgarian and her father is Russian. In 2000, she moved to Timișoara, Romania, where she studied and worked in local clubs. Later she moved to Bucharest and hosted weekly radio shows that made her famous across the country. She became a Romanian citizen in 2010 and works as a DJ for Radio 21 and Vibe FM.
She has collaborated with artists like ATB, Tomcraft, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso. She is best known as the vocalist on the 2009 dance hit “Stereo Love” by Edward Maya. Her first solo single, “Memories,” was released on September 29, 2012. She also appeared on the Romanian edition of Playboy in March 2012. In 2020 she voiced Althea in the American animated film Onward. Jigulina plays guitar and piano and sings, and her genres include house, deep house, EDM, and electro house. She has worked with labels Cat Music, Mayavin Records, and Stereo Tunes Records (UK).
