Pleuronaia dolabelloides, also known as the slab-sided naiad, slab-sided pearly mussel, or slabside pearlymussel, is a freshwater mussel in the river mussels family (Unionidae). It is endangered (IUCN 3.1) and also listed as endangered under the U.S. Endangered Species Act.

Taxonomy: Kingdom Animalia; Phylum Mollusca; Class Bivalvia; Order Unionida; Family Unionidae; Genus Pleuronaia; Species P. dolabelloides. The binomial name is Pleuronaia dolabelloides (Lea, 1840). It used to be placed in the genus Lexingtonia.

Habitat and distribution: This species is native to the Tennessee River system in the United States. It is currently found in Virginia, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Alabama, but is no longer present in North Carolina and Kentucky. A Pleuronaia recorded from Georgia has not been confirmed as this species.

Synonyms (historical names): Lexingtonia dolabelloides; Unio dolabelloides.
