The One is the sixth regular studio album by German pop singer Sasha, released by Columbia Records on 5 December 2014 in German-speaking Europe. It was his first solo studio album in five years, following Good News on a Bad Day (2009). Between those, he released Rock'n'Roll Therapy (2011) with Dick Brave & The Backbeats. The One runs about 40 minutes (40:40) and was produced by Robin Grubert, Peter Seifert and Stefan Skarbek.

Critics gave mixed to negative reviews. Kai Butterweck (laut.de) gave it 2 out of 5 stars, noting some cool, laid-back moments but that the faster parts felt pale and dull. Julia Brummert (T-Online) said the downtempo tracks suit Sasha less this time and criticized the album’s experiments with spoken word, funk, reggae and scratch. Hitchecker magazine felt the album sounded like it came from 15 years earlier and seemed outdated in 2014.

On the charts, The One peaked at number 18 in Germany in December 2014, and reached number 59 in Switzerland. It did not chart in Austria, becoming Sasha’s first album to miss the top 40.
