Zenaida Angping is a Filipino politician and former beauty queen. She served as secretary of the Presidential Management Staff from June 2022 to December 2022 under President Bongbong Marcos. She previously represented Manila’s 3rd district in the House of Representatives from 2007 to 2016. Before politics, she was crowned Miss Caltex in 1969 and later worked with Leyte Governor Benjamin Romualdez, Imelda Marcos’s brother. While her husband Harry Angping was in Congress, she was vice president of the Congressional Spouses Foundation.
In the 2004 elections, she was considered as a substitute candidate for her husband, but the substitution did not go through due to his disqualification, and Miles Roces won the seat. She ran again in Manila in 2019 but lost to Yul Servo. She later headed the Presidential Management Staff, but in December 2022 she took personal time off and left the post in January 2023 for personal reasons. On January 13, 2023, President Marcos nominated her to be Ambassador to France; the nomination was sent to the Commission on Appointments on January 17, 2023. Zenaida Angping is married to former Manila 3rd District Representative Harry Angping.
