Prince Peter Karageorgevitch (Petar Karađorđević) was born on 5 February 1980 in Chicago. He is an American-born graphic designer and a member of the Karađorđević royal family. He is the oldest grandchild of the last Yugoslav king, Peter II, and the eldest son of Crown Prince Alexander and Princess Maria da Gloria of Orléans-Braganza.

Peter grew up in the United States and Virginia, and later studied art in England and Europe. His education included The King’s School, Canterbury; Camberwell College of Arts in London; and time at RISD. He has lived in London, New York, and Seville, and is currently based in London. He works in graphic design and art direction.

He has one daughter, Dolores Luna Noor Noor, born in 2017 with Lauren Estelle Jones.

Peter held the title of Hereditary Prince for himself and his descendants until 27 April 2022, when he renounced it in favor of his younger brother Philip. The ceremony took place in Seville, with family present; his father, Crown Prince Alexander, did not attend.

Peter’s family includes two younger brothers, Philip and Alexander. Through his mother, he has two half-sisters, and his godparents are Prince Alexander of Yugoslavia and Anne, Princess Royal. He participated in royal events such as the 2013 reburial of his grandparents in the Royal Family Mausoleum at Oplenac, where he placed the Karađorđević Crown on the coffin.

As a member of the House of Karađorđević, Peter is connected to various European royal lineages through both his father and mother. He was granted Yugoslav citizenship in 2001.
