Gustaf Adolfs torg, Gothenburg
Gustaf Adolfs torg, or Gustaf Adolf's Square, is a central square in Gothenburg, Sweden. It used to be called Stortorget (the Big Square) until 1854, when a statue of King Gustavus Adolphus was installed. The square is surrounded by the old and new City Hall, the Bourse, and Gothenburg's main harbour canal. It also hosted the opening of the 10th Gothenburg Fringe Festival.
