"Unplugged" Live
Unplugged Live is a live album by the McAuley Schenker Group, released in October 1992. It was recorded March 25, 1992, at The Celebrity Theatre in Anaheim, California, during a tour with an all-acoustic show. The album blends rock with instrumental acoustic tracks and runs for 50 minutes. It was produced by Robin McAuley and Michael Schenker and released by Impact Records in the US and EMI in Europe and Japan. Spencer Sercombe from Shark Island plays second guitar and supplies backing vocals. The release came during the early 1990s unplugged wave, with Schenker moving from electric to reflective nylon-string performances. This was the final McAuley Schenker Group release; the band split up in 1993, as McAuley stepped away from the scene for a few years and Schenker pursued instrumental solo projects.
