The United States men's national junior ice hockey team represents the United States at the IIHF World Junior Championship. It is run by USA Hockey.

The team has won seven gold medals at the World Juniors in 2004, 2010, 2013, 2017, 2021, 2024, and 2025. They have appeared in 50 World Junior tournaments, with their first in 1977.

Many future NHL stars came through the program, including John Carlson, Jack Eichel, Auston Matthews, Patrick Kane, Zach Parise, Adam Fox, and Matthew Tkachuk.

Leadership and players change over time. As of recent years, the general manager is John Vanbiesbrouck, the head coach is David Carle, with assistants Steve Miller, Brett Larson, and Garrett Raboin. The captain for 2025 is Ryan Leonard.

Big moments include the team’s biggest win, a 19–1 victory over Norway in 1991, and their toughest losses, such as 11–1 against Sweden in 1973, 15–5 against the Soviet Union in 1976, and 11–1 against Czechoslovakia in 1987. The roster for the 2026 World Juniors is listed in the record book.
