Alserio (Brianzöö: Alzerich) is a small municipality in the Province of Como, Lombardy, northern Italy. It lies about 35 km north of Milan and 10 km southeast of Como. The town covers 1.9 square kilometers and had 1,127 residents as of December 31, 2004. The postal code is 22040 and the phone area code is 031. Alserio borders Albavilla, Anzano del Parco, Monguzzo, and Orsenigo.
