Mauritania at the Paralympics

Mauritania first competed at the Paralympic Games in 2000 in Sydney. The team included Ezouha Mint Mohamed, a female sprinter, and Mohamed Ould Bahaida, a male powerlifter. In 2004, Mauritania was represented by runner Ezzouha Edidal as its sole athlete. The country did not participate in 2008 and has never taken part in the Winter Paralympics. Mauritania has not won any Paralympic medals.
