UKHot40
UKHot40, later known as UKHotList and originally Hit40UK until 2010, was a British TV chart show on 4Music, The Box and Box Hits, produced by The Box Plus Network. It ran a three-hour Top 40/20 countdown hosted by Dave Wartnaby (2006–2013) and then Will Best (from 2013). The show traced its roots to Hit40UK, a radio chart (2003–2009) that counted UK digital downloads and airplay, unlike the Official UK Singles Chart, which includes physical sales and streaming but excludes radio airplay. From 2015–2023 the programme, then called UKHotList, used Spotify streaming data to rank the week’s most streamed tracks. There were also versions such as UKHotList: Kiss Edition on Kiss TV and yearly UKHotList charts.
