Godmode is the eighth studio album by American rock band In This Moment. It was released on October 27, 2023, through BMG Rights Management and was recorded in 2022 at Hideout Recording Studio in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is the first In This Moment album since Beautiful Tragedy (2007) not produced by Kevin Churko; it was instead produced by Kane Churko (Kevin’s son) and Tyler Bates.

The album runs 39 minutes and blends industrial, industrial metal, and alternative metal, with some metalcore elements. It was preceded by four singles: I Would Die for You (March 23, 2023), The Purge (July 18, 2023), Godmode (August 22, 2023), and Army of Me, a Björk cover (September 20, 2023). Recording began in January 2023, and the band announced tours around the release.

Godmode is noted for heavy electronics, pounding beats, and guitar work that can switch from soft to djent-like heaviness. Critics describe it as expanding the gothic and industrial influences of their earlier work, while delivering a fierce and theatrical metal sound. Notable tracks include Damaged featuring Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills, Skyburner (a prog metal/dream-pop hybrid), and Fate Bringer with an unsettling dance rhythm. The closing track, I Would Die for You, is described as an epic rock ballad.

The album received generally positive reviews, with praise for its fresh production and strong, heavy direction that still keeps In This Moment’s distinctive style.
