Dawn of Victory
Dawn of Victory is the third studio album by Italian symphonic power metal band Rhapsody, released on October 30, 2000. The album continues the Emerald Sword Saga, focusing on the story of Algalord. Lyrics are by Luca Turilli, and music is by Turilli and Alex Staropoli. It was produced by Sascha Paeth and Michael Rodenberg (Miro) and recorded from June to August 2000. This is the first Rhapsody album to feature drummer Alex Holzwarth. The album runs 48 minutes and 25 seconds and was released on Limb Music. The single “Holy Thunderforce” came out on September 20, 2000. It follows Symphony of Enchanted Lands (1998) and precedes Rain of a Thousand Flames (2001). In 2019, Metal Hammer ranked it as the second-best power metal album of all time. Some editions include a Digipak with a bonus disc of extra tracks and a multimedia track.
