Turn Up the Volume is a 10-episode Australian teen drama that aired on ABC Me, premiering on 24 March 2023. It follows a group of young women and gender-diverse teens who form a band called The Volume at a Melbourne music camp. Inspired by the Girls Rock! Camp movement and the documentary No Time For Quiet, the show features performances by The Volume, with music by Josh Teicher and Sophia Exiner. The cast includes Riya Mandrawa, Ayiana Ncube, Mira Russo, Elaine King, and Erza James. The series was written by multiple writers and directed by several directors, with Philippa Campey and Rachel Davis as producers. It’s produced by Matchbox Pictures and Film Camp, with funding from Screen Australia, the ABC, and VicScreen. Turn Up the Volume was nominated for the 2023 Logie Award for Most Outstanding Children's Program.
