Friesenberg is a district in Zurich, Switzerland, at the southern foot of the Uetliberg mountain. It is part of urban district 3, Wiedikon, which joined Zurich in 1893. The area covers about 5.15 square kilometers and has around 10,360 residents.

Friesenberg has two Jewish cemeteries. Unterer Friesenberg cemetery opened in 1866 after land was acquired in 1865. A cemetery hall was built in 1892, and a larger second site was bought in 1916. Since 1952, the Oberer Friesenberg cemetery has been in use, and burials at the original site have declined. The Oberer Friesenberg cemetery was expanded in 1988 and includes a large cemetery hall with ablution rooms and a memorial stone by Susi Guggenheim Weil honoring Nazi-era victims.

Notable people interred there include Felix Salten, Joseph Schmidt, and Otto Klemperer (Unterer Friesenberg), and Kurt Hirschfeld, Mascha Kaléko, Erwin Leiser, Jenny Splatter Schaner, Margarete Susman, Lydia Woog, and Sigi Feigel (Oberer Friesenberg).

The quarter is served by the S-Bahn line S10, with stations at Zürich Friesenberg, Zürich Schweighof, and Zürich Triemli.
