Chicago Peak is a tall mountain in southwest Colorado, sitting on the border between Ouray and San Miguel counties. It rises to 13,385 feet (4,080 meters) above sea level and has a prominence of 345 feet. Its parent peak is T 5, which is 13,436 feet tall.

Location and range
- It lies about four miles east of Telluride, in Uncompahgre National Forest.
- It is part of the Sneffels Range, a subrange of the San Juan Mountains in the Rocky Mountains.

Nearby landmarks
- Chicago Peak overlooks the ghost town of Tomboy.
- It is about one mile south of United States Mountain and one mile northwest of Imogene Pass.

Climbing
- The easiest route to the summit is class 2 terrain via Imogene Pass.

Geography
- The east face climbs about 2,000 feet in roughly one mile up to Imogene Basin.
- The west face rises about 2,000 feet above Savage Basin in less than one mile.

Climate
- The area has an alpine subarctic climate: cold winters and cool to warm summers.
- It gets precipitation year-round, with snow in winter and thunderstorms in summer; late spring tends to be drier.

Drainage
- Water from the west side drains into tributaries of the San Miguel River.
- Water from the east side drains into tributaries of the Uncompahgre River.
