Travis Vokolek
Travis Vokolek is an NFL tight end who plays for the Arizona Cardinals and wears number 81. He was born on June 4, 1998, in Springfield, Missouri. He is 6 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 260 pounds. He attended Kickapoo High School in Springfield.
Vokolek played college football at Rutgers from 2017 to 2018 and then at Nebraska from 2019 to 2022. At Rutgers, he appeared in seven games as a freshman with one catch for 14 yards. In 2018 he played all 12 games, started seven, and had 16 receptions for 184 yards and two touchdowns. After transferring to Nebraska, he sat out 2019 due to transfer rules and redshirted. As a redshirt senior, he had 11 receptions for 127 yards. He used an extra year of eligibility to play a sixth season, finishing with 20 catches for 240 yards and two touchdowns.
Vokolek went undrafted in 2023 but signed with the Baltimore Ravens as a free agent. He was waived at the end of August and joined the Ravens’ practice squad. On December 20, 2023, he was promoted to the Arizona Cardinals’ active roster, taking the roster spot created by the injury to Geoff Swaim.
In 2024, Vokolek made the Cardinals’ initial 53-man roster as the fourth tight end behind Trey McBride, Elijah Higgins, and Tip Reiman. In the 2025 season, he appeared in five games, with one start and two tackles on special teams. In Week 6 against the Indianapolis Colts, he suffered a season-ending neck injury and was placed on injured reserve.
