Too Hot to Stop is a funk album by the Bar-Kays, released in October 1976. It was their first album for Mercury Records and runs about 36 minutes. The album includes the hit song "Shake Your Rump to the Funk." Critics noted its sound as being similar to Ohio Players’ funk. The record helped the band gain attention, and George Clinton of Parliament-Funkadelic invited them to open for his P-Funk Earth Tour in 1976–77.
