European route E58 is a long international road that runs from Vienna, Austria in the west to Rostov-on-Don in Russia in the east. It passes through Austria, Slovakia, Ukraine, Romania, Moldova, and Russia, covering about 2,200 km (1,400 miles). The road is part of the International E-road network. Since 2014, part of the route in eastern Ukraine has been under the control of the separatist Donetsk People’s Republic. In 2022, during the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Russia took control of areas of the route in Donbas, as well as in Kherson and Zaporizhzhia oblasts.
