Tom Osborne (rugby union)
Tom Osborne (born 8 July 1998) is an Australian rugby union player who plays as a loosehead prop for Harlequins in the English Premiership. He studied at Sydney University and Oxford University, where he captained the Oxford Blues in Varsity matches.
Osborne began his senior career with Sydney University in 2018 in the NSW Shute Shield. He helped the team win the competition in 2019 and captained them the following year. He also played for Sydney Rays in the National Rugby Championship in 2019.
In 2021 he joined Oxford University RFC and was named Varsity Captain for the 2022 season. He trialed with Harlequins in 2021 and made his debut for the club in the Premiership Rugby Cup against Saracens as a substitute. He scored his first try for Harlequins the next season against Saracens.
While with Harlequins, Osborne spent time on loan at London Scottish in the RFU Championship, debuting against Caldy and later appearing off the bench against Exeter Chiefs in the Premiership Rugby Cup. He even captained Harlequins in a match against his former club Oxford University, guiding them to a 45–7 win.
In 2025, Osborne returned to Australia to join Western Force as injury cover for Harry Hoopert ahead of the Super Rugby Pacific season.
