Fayza Lamari, born on 17 September 1974 in Bondy, France, is a former handball player and a French businesswoman. She is the mother of football star Kylian Mbappé and a powerful figure in football management. Since 2024 she has chaired Interconnected Investment Holding, which owns SM Caen. Lamari played handball from 1990 to 2001 and later studied educational sciences. She began helping manage Kylian’s career when he joined AS Monaco at 15, focusing on finances, image rights and communications. She runs several companies linked to Kylian’s image and advertising, including Interconnected Investments and Sasile Communications, and leads the Ozora family real estate business. She also runs the Kylian Mbappé Association, founded in 2020 to help young people in culture, sports and education; it is said Kylian donates a portion of his profits to it. In 2022 she played a key role in Kylian’s negotiations with Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, which led to a PSG contract extension, though she personally preferred he leave. That year she launched the FLA agency to advise footballers, including her two sons. In 2024 her group bought Caen, a Ligue 2 club, but the team was relegated after one season. Fayza and Wilfrid Mbappé were partners for many years, marrying in 2016 and separating in 2022; they have two sons, Kylian and Ethan, both professional footballers. The family also considers Jirès Kembo Ekoko, once Wilfrid’s ward, as part of the family.
