Tirora, also spelled Tiroda, is a city and municipal council in the Gondia district of Maharashtra, India. It lies in Tiroda taluka in the Vidarbha region.

The town covers about 22 square kilometers and sits about 302 meters above sea level. As of 2011, Tirora had a population of 25,181 with about 50% men and 50% women. The literacy rate is 75% (83% for men and 67% for women), and about 12% of residents are under six years old.

A major feature near Tirora is the Adani Power Maharashtra Limited coal-fired power plant, the largest in the state, with a capacity of 3,300 MW across five 660 MW units. The plant is about 3 kilometers from Tirora on the Tirora-Gondia state road. Coal is transported by rail via the Kachewani Railway Station, and water is drawn from a weir on the Wainganga River.
