Timochares trifasciata
Timochares trifasciata, the many-banded skipper, is a butterfly in the family Hesperiidae. It belongs to the genus Timochares. The species was described by Hewitson in 1868. It has several synonyms, including Leucochitonea trifasciata and Antigonus trifasciatus. This butterfly is found from eastern and western Mexico south through Central America and into South America, reaching southern Brazil, Paraguay, and Argentina.
